  1. My townland is situated in the parish of Lorrha and Dorrha in the barony of Ormond. It is called Ravakeen. There are three families in it. There are only twenty people altogether. There are two slated houses and one thatched. In my home district also there is an old woman whose name is Mrs. Cahill. Her age is about eighty. She can tell stories in English but not in Irish. I do not know of anybody who emigrated from this townland in bygone days.
As far as I know the townland is not mentioned in any song or saying. The land is good and high. There are no rivers or lakes in it.
