    St. Steven's Day - On this day men and boys dress up and go about from house to house singing songs and asking for money. This is called "hunting the wren"
    Chalk Sunday - Chalk Sunday is the Sunday before Lent. On this day people chalk all bachelors. This is not carried on now, but it was carried on ten years ago
