    to this well nowadays although the white thorn bush grew again.
    The friars had a monastery near where Uskane cemetery now stands. They used to come in procession through Feigh bog to the cross-roads near at hand, from where they used to go on their knees to the well, where they used to say the rosary and then they would go on their knees to the marks of the knees and would say another round of their beads there.
