- One morning a fox came to the farm-yard of Michael Butler Cloughkeating to steal a goose. When he had the goose killed he was not able to lift it over the farmyard wall. Twice he tried and failed. He stopped and thought for a minute. He put the goose's head in a hole half way up the wall. He then mounted the wall and took the goose over the wall by the neck.
