  1. This fort is situated in Ballyhaden not many miles from Borrisokane. The owner of farm in which this fort was built, sold it because the farm yard was on a pass leading to the centre of the fort. They present owner William Fogarty, Ballyhaden, being short of out-offices built a cow shed on the pass. The cows were kept in the house during the winter months. This particular bail was always open from the cows neck every morning, and of
