There are fields on the farm at home known as "Gort Bog" because the field was soft, "Gort Ruad" because the clay is red, "Going's Field" because the former owner was Going. The Rusk get it's name because the rushed grow in it.
The Black Meadow is so called because the clay is black, and 'The Big Meadow' because it is an eight acres field. 'The Clover' got it's name because when it was let out to grow grass, clover grew in(continues on next page)- Collector
