    the dog barking and they also heard the sound of a bell in the burrow.
    They were very much surprised at this but they were more surprised when the dog appeared at the mouth of the burrow with a bright lightt on his nose and immediately went in again.
    They men went home greatly frightened but the dog never returned, but he is often seen at night around the fort with the light still shining from his nose.
