of fine weather. If the fish lie on the bottom and refuse to be tempted there is more or less electricity in the atmosphere. The quieter and duller the fish the nearer we are to thunder and while they are in this mood the weather will be unsettled. When there is a take only now and then the weather remains unsettled. When big fish refuse to feed when they wont notice the fly at all and when they comeup and go away without minding the fly then weather will be poor.
When the fish drown the fly, get fully hooked and when nothing but sprat are caught weather will be poor and fishing will not improve without a good dash of rain.
