  1. Food for the Journey
When a very old women Mrs Kennedy of Glown was dying a few years ago all the locks and bolts in the house were unlocked and unbolted and food and drink was left outside on the windowsill for her journey to eternity.
If any animal dies after a person dies the departed person is supposed to need it in the next world.
Told by Mrs. JN Quinlan (55) Carew, Upperchurch.
