    There's its melodious bell swinging high in the air
    And its soft mellow peals call the faithfulll to prayer
    As they float on the breeze o'er valley and lea
    And die midst thy green mountains Fair Borrisoleigh
    There's the ancient old castle that stands by the stream
    Where the warrior fought and the bard sang his theme
    With its ivy crowned turrets it stands majestically
    Looking silently o'er Fair Borrisoleigh
    Woody Barnane, lovely and wild -
    A more beautiful landscape one rarely will find
    With its bold mountain summit towering high o'er the lea
    It proudly looks down on Fair Borrisoleigh.
