- Long ago it is said that there is a pot of gold hid in the townland of Gurtnacranna in the Parish of Borrisoleigh and the County Tipperary. The treasure is hid in a field under a rock and there is a black dog guarding it there have never attempt ever been made to unearth it. It is not know by whom placed it there is a pot of gold under a rock but there is no silver or valuable vessels. Their is no tradition are connected with the Danes. There is no lights ever been seen in my district. It is not known with that result with that result the pot of gold There has no people in my district had ever enable to see any fairies eating any certain food. They have no buried gold and such treasure ever been discovered in my district. The value is supposed to have been a pot of gold. It is not known what the treasure consist.
