- The wren boy's go about yet in the district. they dress them selve's and go around from house to house, singing song's and dancing, when they would be finished dancing and singing the woman or man of the house would give them money. On Shrove Tuesday night people make pan cakes and eat them, on Chalk Sunday all the children buy chalk & write on people back's. On May Day morning people steal the cream from their neighbour's. On St Martins Day people kill a goose and spill the blood at the back of the door(continues on next page)
