    Tullow Castle : -
This castle was owned by an Irish chief by name - McJames. This family made a remarkable escape from serious injury when a portion of the castle collapsed during a heavy storm. The family escaped by the help of a little dog which was out in the courtyard. The dog came in barking and making a terrible din. The family got frightened and rushed out to see what was the matter and when they were out the floor collapsed and they escaped just by a miracle.
