  2. At Owenshan is a very ancient churchyard. Tombstones here read back as far as 1642. In this churchyard are interred a large number of people who died in the dreadful famine of 1845 - 47. At Cooleeney is another old churchyard in which a wooden cross is erected. There are many old stones to be found here, which bear resemblance to the
