He was a boy of great faith and fine moral courage and kept holy water in the room always as a protection against this visitation. He got ill in the house - scarlatina, and a sister came in from her country house to nurse him through his illness. On the first night she was there, he told her in advance what would happen and advised her to get to sleep as soon as she could. But no, she wanted to see the phenomenon
