    one is, on the last Tuesday of Shrove if the girls that had i tentions of getting married and did not get married they would break and strike all the pots that they could see.
    Peopl think that the Month of May very unlucky to get married. Some friend of either perties introduces the match and both parties meet together, talks it over and appoints the day for the wedding. Money or stock is generally given as a dowry.
    In olden times a wedding was considered a most enjoyable feast, there is a beautiful breakfast. The Priest used to come to thehouse and attend at the breakfast and cut the bride's cake. They generally divide the bride's cake among all the guests present
