    and he saw two-pence in it. he took it out and kept it, but the next morning his life was terribly swollen, no one knew what could be the matter with his lip. He, himself, however, thought of the twopence he had taken out of the Well, and he went back unknown to anybody and dropped the twopence back into the well, and the next morning his life was its normal size again.
