Rub boric powder well into the chilblains night and morning. A Cut:
Get a cobweb and put it on the cut.
Get the skin of an egg and tie it around the cut. To Cure Burns:
Hold the burn to the fire. To Prevent Bleeding:
Get a cloth and tie it very lightly above the wound and put a pencil or little stick in the cloth and keep twisting it. - Burns and Scalds:
Carron oil composed of raw linseed oil and lime - it is usually kept in a corked bottle - should be applied(continues on next page)
