- A man was sitting on a bridge one bright Summer's evening close by Clare - Castle, reading a newspaper when a weasel sat on the opposite side. She went back to the Castle and brought out a gold coin in her mouth, she came before the man again, leaving down the coin, so that he would see it, taking it up again she went back to the castle, looking back several times, to see was he following her, so that she would show him where the money was, but he had not the courage to follow her. A short time after, a few people went to dig for it. They said whatever would happen they would not leave the castle.
