  1. There is a Moate in Knockgraffon, and it is said that fairies dwelt there.
    There was a man who had a hump on his back coming from the fair of Cahir one night. As he was passing the Moate he heard the fairies singing "Mondat, Tuesdat, Monday Tuesdau," and he added "Wednesday, Thursday."
    The fairies were so pleased with his song that they removed the hump from his back. When he reached home, he told the story to another man who had a hump.
    The man with the hump, went to the Moate the next night. he heard th fairies singing, "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday," and he added "Friday, Saturday"
    The fairies were so displeased with his song, that they put the other man's hump on top of his own, so he went home
