  1. Tables.
    Hanging tables were hung up when not in use. There was only one leg to it and it was kept up against the wall by the support of an iron bar. There was another kind of table called a "settle table" and under it was a shelf for holding food and delf. Under that again were four lats where a bed was kept. Usually the work-man slept in it.
    Chairs and Stools
    Mostly high back chairs with sugán seats were used by all country people, with a long cushion from top to bottom.
    The stools were made from a long flat bit of wood cut from the trunks of trees.
