(continued from previous page)The following birds migrate:-
The cuckoo, the swallow,
the corncrake, the plover,
the lark, the wild goose.
The cuckoo comes to us at the end of Arpil and the beggining of May. The old cuckoo leaves here about the Month of August but the young ones do not migrate until a month later. The swallow and the corncrake come here in April and leave again in September.
The following birds build their nests in the trees or bushes:-
The thrush, the linnet,
the wren, the crow,
the woodquest, the blackbird,
the starling, the gold finch.
The following birds build their nests on the ground:-
