   "It is a fairy you have in the cradle and I am going to make a fire and burn him" and when the fairy heard that he began to cry so that his mother would take compassion on him so the tailor went to make the fire and they heard terrible noise in the yard and the mother and the tailor looked out in the yard and when they came in again they had not a child nor a fairy in the cradle and that put an end to the tailor.

   Once upon a time there was a poor man and he had a few acres of ground. He went to the fair one day to buy a cow. He bought a very nice cow. On his way home he called in to his neighbour who kept a public house for a drink. They man in the inn spoke about the fair and the cow he bought.
