There is a moate on the land of Mr. Deveraux...

There is a moate on the land of Mr. Deverau and it is said by many to be haunted.
Once when a woman was passing it something hit her and when she went home she had to go to bed with a very bad pain.
She told the story to her husband and the morning he set out to reach a cure man who lived near Thurles.
As he was going in the gate the cure man's house, the cure man was comingout to meet him and told him that he was too late and his wife was dead.
The cure explained that when the woman was passing the moate she got a blast and if the man had come two hours earlier he could have saved her life.
