“Saint John's well is situated on the old road in the middle of a field...”
Saint John's well is situated on the old road in the middle of a field and away from that is Saint Bridget's well. In the olden times the people used to go there to get rid of sores and of sickness. The first action they performed was to say the Rosary three times while walking around the well three times and they would drink a cup of water out of the well. But before they go away they would leave a little gift in honour of Saint Bridget and Saint John.- Bailitheoir
