    Churning:-
    I never saw any churning done but I often saw the churns in which it was done. Two different sorts of churn were there an up right one and a sound barrel.
    The upright one was worked by a staff with a cross on the end of it. That was moved up and down by the dairy until all the (sacs..?) were used at the churning.
