    Shrove Tuesday is the last day for getting married before Lent.On that night pancakes are made in every house.
    On Easter Sunday one eats a lot of eggs and there is great feasting in each house.
    Saint Martins day a cock is killed and the blood is sprinkled in the four corners of the house.
    New Years Eve everybody stays up until after midnight to welcome the New Year.The old people believed if a person ate enough that night that he would have enough to eat until the end of the coming year.
    On the Eve of the Epiphany which is sometimes called little Christmas Day twelve candles are lighted in each house .On that night the water is supposed to be changed into wine at midnight.
