    For starch the people used to get raw potatoes...

    For starch the people used to get raw potatoes and get a piece of tin and hole it, one side of the tin would be rough and they used rub the potatoes to it. They would squeeze the part that they scrape off and rub the juice to what they would want to stiffen and then they would dry it and iron it.
