    (The) Two doors that were in the houses. They were opposite each other. A bundle of sally rods that had for a door. In the bad weather they had a mat made of straw for a door. For to keep the mat from blowing in they had a hole left in each side of the wall and a big stick of bogdeal left cross the entrance at nightime. The people used have two doors made of timber a big door and a small one called a half door. Half door are to be seen in the majority of the country at the present day.
    There used be a bed in the kitchen of each house
