Weackie (Bhacach) a nickname given to a girl who lived around here about eighty years ago. She was famous Irish dancer who attended all the fairs or patterns as they were called them. The fair of Ballsmill (South Armagh) which was held annually was her chief rendez-vous. While a young girl she was called Biddy Johnny & it was not until late in life she was nicknamed "Weackie" by an old man who came to live to her, after his return from Scotland.
