- On our farm at home the following weeds grow. Nettles, Ragweeds, Rushes and Thistles.
The Thistle and the Ragweed grow in good land and the Nettles and the Rushes grow only in poor wet land. The Thistle is the most harmful one because of its seeds, the wind scatters the seeds through the land and they produce more young Thistles.
There are many herbs in which there are cures, such as dandelion, it is the cure for warts and Saint Patricks leag is the cure for a cut on a persons hand.
