- A great carpenter was Pat Woods of Feraghs. His chief work was making carts for the farmers. He is dead now. He had a saw pit at the side of the house and it can be seen yet. A man named Brian Duff of Park Na Mudda was out ploughing in the field one day and a man challenged him to jump across a horse. Brian said that he would think nothing of that and he sprang across the two hordes with which he was ploughing.
