- My Home Townland.
The townland in which I live is Louth Hall. It contains a good number of houses and many families. There are eighty nine people living in it.
The river Glyde flows by and separates it from another townland.
The names of the families most common are Mc Eneaney's.
There are four lakes and four streams in it. There is a story connected with Colliers Plantation.
There was a man named Collier who lived in this plantation.
He used to rob the rich and give the money to the poor people.
He was then called "Collier the Robber".
There are no old ruins in our townland. Six new houses were built about four years ago.
Most of the land is good.
