  1. There are different kinds of churns such as dash churns barrel churns and round churns.
    We have a churn at home the sides are round and it is about two years old.
    The parts are called the handle the lid the stand and the screw.
    There is no mark on the side or bottom except a number which is on the side of it.
    The butter is made twice or three times a week.
    Butter is made oftener in Summer than in Winter-bees se cows have more milk in Summer than Winter.
    The churn takes about fifteen minutes or a half an hour to finish.
    Water is poured into the churn to make it churn quicker.
    Some people take off the butter with their hands.
