    (continued from previous page)
Shun them Shun them Séan my boy
    Or they'll be your ruination
When Adam was a gasoon gay
    And wandering wild through Eden
He never knew of night or day
    Whether wife or maiden
He went to sleep one summer's day
With none to blame or blight him
    Awoke to find a werristhrue
    A cailin there beside you
    III
    In wonderment at her gazed
His eyes might burst their sockets
He looked around him startled stared
So then he felt his pockets
he then addressed this comely maid
And said 'how come your madam'
Se's she a mic by parcel post
    I'm labelled Mrs Adam
Those words were double Dutch to him
    He didn't know their meaning
This young pert and artful Miss
    She was not long explaining
And if you do not need a wife
I will be a sister to cook and mix your grog my boy
So then he up and kissed her
