  1. 1.Usually when questioning people of the older generation regarding olden times and of customs they had, we find that they had many customs at wakes and funerals. Some of those old customs are as follows
    2. The relatives would hand round pipes and tobacco at the graveside or sometimes at the wake.
    Every person at the funeral would bring a stone in his pocket, and when the grave would be filled in, they would leave the stone on the grave this is how the big ''Carns''
