    3. In the town land of Cappoge there are ruins of an old church. This Church was used in the time of Cromwell. It was owned by a man called Mr Rielly. When Cromwell reached Dunleer he burned the church down, but it was re-built again. There is an altar in it made of marble. There is a story told that the people used to lock up the church and that when they would come back in the morning it would be opened. This went on until the Church was left open altogeather. Another story is told that every night a ghost used appear on top of the church in
