- 1. All farmers that have cows have churns. A Churn is a very useful article. Long ago handles were not used on the churns. It was a dash that was used long ago.
2. The milk is first of all poured into a crock and is left for a few days until the creams gathers. Then all is poured into a churn. In the winter a drop of hot water is added. In the summer a drop of cold water is added, the people then start churning.
