My mother told me that her Granny was coming home...

My mother told me that her Granny was coming home the Collon Road one night years ago and it was getting dusk. She was coming home after getting buttermilk in Drews. When she came as far as Downeys avenue she heard beautiful music. A coachman was coming too and heard it. He was afraid and told her to get up on the coach. Then they saw hundreds of little fairy men in green and red playing the music with dishes and sticks Then the fairies disappeared and the tramping could still be heard. The horses under the coach shied and went mad The fairies seemed to go over by Pigionhouse Lane. The coachman went home and left my great grandmother at her own gate and she told this story to my mother when she was alive.
