    Many years ago there lived a saint...

    (continued from previous page)
    morning with the fire in her apron the blacksmith remarked that she had a pretty foot. When he said that the saint looked down at her foot and immediately the fire burned through her apron and fell on her foot burning her ankle
    The old people said that she committed the sin of pride by looking at her feet and the power to take living fire in her apron was taken from her and the blacksmith was to blame.
    The saint cursed the blacksmith and said that he nor any other blacksmith would be able to light a fire there again and they say that for years no blacksmoith could light a fire there
