- There is a gate called "Crocolough" gate near out house.
It is said that at one time there was a lake near this gate which was drained out by a name named Mr.Austin.
When he had this done he got tons of big sods and threw them into it. It is kind of a hill at present. (no title)
“In Dollardstown there is a lovely cave.”
It is under the road but long ago it was not a cave but a lovely grotto with statues and holy images in niches in the wall.
The ceiling is ornamented by lovely shells.
The was a passage underground leading from Dollardstown House.
