- Snow Storms
Miss Eliza Neill Oldtown remembers a snowstorm in January 1877. You could walk from her home in Oldtown to Tara across country. The snow was as high as the tops of the bushes. It lasted for a monh.
Tara is southwest of the Parochial House in Johnstown.
If Tara is hidden by mist in the morning the day will be wet.
