    eaten vegetables were not eaten either. Some people ate late at night and others did not.
    Eggs were always eaten on Easter Sunday.
    Noggins, made of wood, were used before cups were used.
    Times are changed since then and if you suggested the plain fare mentioned before you would be laughed at.
    Everyone eats white shop bread and tea now a days and porridge is nearly unheard of.
