There are not any hills in my district only very little ones.
There is one ratheen in my district. There is one great big wood in my district called Tobertynan wood, and there is a fairly big planting in it too called Trammons. There is a river fairly wide running along the side of the planting, but it flows on into the Boyne at Boardsmill. There are no lakes, but there are a terrible lot of streams in my district.
There is one lady, Mrs. Egan, in Brannoxtown, who is a great story teller and also Mr. James Morgan of Brannoxtown is a good story teller and a very good astronomer.
The largest portion of the land is bog and reclaimed bog. The only good land in the district is a large farm of about two hundred acres which belongs to Mrs. Smith Roristown, Trim.
