- One time there was a miller who was very fond of money. He wished to have a big pile of money but to his surprise he only earned a few shillings a week and he was always poor. At last he dreamt that if he dug by the side of the mill he would find a large flat stone and under this stone there was a heap of gold. He had this dream three nights.
At last he resolved to try his luck. He dug a very large hole beside the mill.
When he was down about four feet he found a big flat stone. He was so overjoyed that(continues on next page)
