They are stored in pits. First they are covered with straw and clay. The following are the kinds of potatoes grown in our district:
    Arran, Chiefs, Arran Banners, Arran Victors, Shamrocks, Presidents, Irish Queens, British Queens, Epicures, Up-to-dates, White beauties and Black-and-Tans.
