    People make potato, cakes in the district with mashed potatoes and a little flour usually the potatoes are left over after the dinner and the cake are made the potates are mashed by a pounder or sometimes by the side of saucpan when the cake is rolled and cut in slices and put to bake on the pan. Boxty Bread is made by a fair amount of potatoes mashed and then grated and milk is put on them and it is drained by what we call a boxty bag till it is all drained out
