    The people sometimes give them eggs, meal, tea, sugar bread, or potatoes instead of money.
    Some of them travel on foot, others singley, and others in bands.
    The best known of them are Reillys and Connors.
    The Reilly family most frequently visit our district They come at special times of the year such as, at fairs and at Christmas and Easter. They bring valuable news from distant parts, and they tell interesting stories, and some of them tell fortunes and they sometimes sing very nice songs.
