   But they are not allowed to take so much water out of it. The spring is running to it from the bottom. The field is all marshy and shrubs. It is always flowing into the well.
   St. Colm Cille is patron St. of Kell. His house is in Church lane it is a big house.

   There is a well on the Kieran road. It is called St. Kierans well it is about half a mile from Sheeney bridge. There is a well along the road and its name is Kierans well. It is in a bit from the road. There is a railing round round the place and there are a number of wells in the grounds. There is a well in it that all the people of the country comes to see the first Sunday of Augest. A good deal of people come there that day to drink
