    Some time after, a magpie began stealing chickens, and she called her husband to rob the nest. He got a ladder, and went up in the tree, on which the nest was built. He killed the young birds, and pulled down the nest. He handed it to his wife, and told her to burn it, or they build again.
    She began to break it, and she was admiring it, because it was so well built. In the middle of the nest she found her lost thimble.
